“ We decided to change our existing staircase to a new oak one. We contacted 2 large “national” companies and although they provided a visit to the house and a glossy brochure , the price was double to our proposed budget. We then contacted Calarel, who were local to us and from our initial enquiry, we had a visit within days together with photos of staircases they had created. Again, within a very short space of time, we were provided with samples of the spindles, handrail and wood stains and a price that was exactly what we hoped for! We cannot recommend Calarel highly enough. The work was carried out with the minimum of disruption with such pleasant fitters who were a delight to have in our home.
