Calarel Developments was established in 1982 and is located in Moreton-in-Marsh in Gloucestershire, on the northern edge of the Cotswolds.
Location has always been a prime consideration when acquiring sites for either development or conversion and the enviable Cotswold fringe is invariably the choice of the Company. The company has completed more than 120 projects, the majority of which involved Listed Buildings which were environmentally sensitive.
Great care is taken with both design and construction to ensure that the homes created are both unobtrusive and aesthetically pleasing. Whilst the intent is to produce authentic period properties, every modern convenience and technical improvement is incorporated without compromising appearances. Facing materials are normally reclaimed locally and a similar approach is adopted for internal features. All properties are covered by a 10 year Structural Guarantee by Zurich Municipal.
Calarel has its own Joinery Division which is co-located with the company offices at Moreton-in-Marsh. The workshop not only services all their own sites but uses spare capacity to cater for a growing demand for purpose-made kitchens, staircases and general purpose joinery for the construction business in general.
