Purchase of building plot in Welford-on-Avon

Unexpected demand for houses of greater size than our norm, has led to the purchase of a 0.8 acre plot in the village of Welford-on-Avon, 4.7 miles from the centre of Straford-upon-Avon.

It is intended to build a substantial property of over 550 sq. m (6,000 sq.ft) which will incorporate 5 bedrooms as well as a guest annex, all with individual bathrooms. There is no attached field or paddock.

This impressive house should be ready for occupation about August 2008.

Planning Approval

We have received planning approval for the construction of a new house (as yet unnamed) in the grounds of Longworth House, Great Wolford.

This 2150 sq.ft house will have 4 bedrooms and an attached double garage. Constructed from local stone, with a slate roof and oak joinery, the house should be completed in Summer 2007.

Unlike many of our recent houses, there is a garden of more manageable size and without any attached field or paddock. This will suit many hoofless families with busy working lives.

Open Days will be held at Round House Farm on:

1. Sat 27 May 2006 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. and
2. Sat 3 June 2006 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

As Round House Farm nears completion, an Open Day will be held there on 13 and 14 May 2006.

Great Wolford - New 4-bedroomed house to be built, and existing house renovated

A plot of land in the village of Great Wolford (near Shipston-on -Stour) has been purchased. An existing building (Longworth House) will be renovated and an additional 4-bedroomed, 2350sqft house built, with completion in Summer 2007.

Plans for Old Orchard, Pillerton Priors, have been approved. Construction work begins in December 2005.
